This week has been rough. My knee injury was just one of many issues that felt overwhelming this week. I’m sure I struggled to cope with everything else I have going on more because I was in pain. I also couldn’t work out as intensely as I’m used to so I lost an outlet and coping mechanism. My knee is certainly healing but that process has been long and painful. I have run a mile outside every morning before work. I am glad I’ve been able to get back outdoors for my runs but I also look forward to running pain free again. Luckily, running doesn’t seem to hurt any more than my other day-to-day activities. I’ll probably stick to one mile runs until my knee isn’t hurting as much. Injuries are frustrating.
