On Thursday, I ran 2 miles through the cemetery and my heart rate and pace were back to normal! Granted, it was only a 2 mile run but I was still pleasantly surprised. Yesterday, I did my stretches and ran one mile for a rest day. I’ve been doing a ton of gardening over the past few days and my body needed some down time. I’m hoping to go on a long run this morning. It’s starting the day warmer than I would like it to be but the weather has been beautiful the past several days so I’m not complaining! I’ve also been able to return to my pull-ups. I can tell I’ve lost some strength there but I can still do a full pull-up so I’m really happy about that. I need to be diligent about getting that strength back.
