Quick run over lunch

Today was a half day for the students and the afternoon was a teacher in-service.  We got a longer lunch than usual so our running club hit the streets.  It was cold and drizzling but it was the best way I can imagine to spend that extra long lunch time!  We ran a little over 2 miles and I could tell that my legs were tired after yesterday’s run.  I will try to stretch tomorrow and log my rest day one mile run.  I realized toward the end of the day that I hadn’t planned dinner for the family.  My favorite local restaurant is a farm-to-table style restaurant and it is currently closed for the winter.  I took our family to my back-up option with a fantastic salad bar.  I stayed on track with my eating there, which is awesome.  They really have fantastic cinnamon rolls but I haven’t eaten them in over a year because of what gluten does to my digestive system.  I didn’t really miss them much tonight.  Whew.
