I know it is way too early to be looking for signs of spring but the warm temps this week are a reminder of what is ahead. We are getting close to the halfway mark through winter and that is great news. There will likely be more bitter days before we see consistent warmth but anything that gives me hope for that thaw is welcomed with open arms. This morning I hit the country roads with Mr. B. We ran 4.5 miles at a great pace. I really felt the workout but also enjoyed the endorphins that followed the effort. I also managed to make it through another day of my week three of my pull-up plan. This is the first day I’ve managed to get all the way through a week 3 day on a work day and that feels like a great accomplishment. This weekend I’m headed to AZ since my husband is going there for work. I’m looking forward to some foothill trail running even though the high temperatures there aren’t forcasted to be much higher than here over the next few days. You win some and you lose some. I hope Mother Nature takes pity on my cold, dark soul and at least provides me with some opportunities for prolonged sunlight exposure.
