I really didn’t expect it to start raining as I left the house for my run this evening but it sure did anyway. It was 50 degrees and raining as the sun set tonight. It certainly could have been worse. I ran an easy 2 miles through town to try to avoid the open wind. When I need to run in the evening but have many things on my calendar, I wear my running clothes under my work clothes. It makes the transition easier after work and it also leaves me less room to forget my run. I wore running leggings, my running socks, a sports bra, and running tank under my sweater and boots for work today. I came home, exchanged the sweater for a long sleeve running shirt, exchanged my boots for running shoes, and tossed on a hat. I would have worn a hat with a brim if I would have known it was going to rain but you win some and lose some!
