This morning my colleague and I ran 3 miles around the town while the sun rose. There was quite a bit of frost covering the grass but it was still a lovely run. I am really looking forward to a “rest” day of a slow mile or 2 tomorrow though. I can already feel some soreness settling into my quads from yesterday’s sprints. I will likely do my 30 minute wall stretch routine to work out some of that lactic acid as well. I have a European style cross country race next Saturday and I’m looking forward to seeing if my recent round of training has improved my 5k time at all!
