I constantly lose track of the days

I started out my run this morning thinking it was run number 666.  I got into a good head space and had a great run in spite of the ominous number.  Then, as I got home, I realized that YESTERDAY was run number 666 and it was obviously rather uneventful.  Whew.  I really like to think that I am beyond superstition but every once in a while it creeps into the back of my mind.  Sometimes it is just a day late.  This morning was another uneventful and slow three miles around town in the dark.  There are some rumblings of starting a running group with some fellow teachers before school for the winter.  I wouldn’t mind having some company as I log my days!
